I think its pretty astonishing that USA is in so much power over the rest of the world. I didn't realize that we controlled so much and had like so much power and say over other countries or even the entire world. No one would really ever be able to stop us if we decided to do something to some other country.
Its a pretty scary scenario when you consider the amount of power the USA has and how much of a target they are to powers that do not like us.
ReplyDeleteI was also taken aback when we learned how much power America has. I'm surprised that I never knew we controlled the oceans. We definitely should have already won the war in the middle east.
ReplyDeleteThe U.S. maybe quite a super power and own a lot of important landmarks but countries like China and Germany have been stepping it up with there military and what not. As we saw in class, China is making some crazy war machines and they can be dangerous to us if we got in trouble with them
ReplyDeleteThe U.S. is pretty much a super power and it is weird to think countries may aim at us to knock our country down. It is a possibility that this is the reason that countries have hatred towards us. Saying that, other countries are scared of us and that gives us even more protection that we already have.
ReplyDeleteThe amount of power we have in the U.S. is astonishing, however, it seems the more power we have the more motivated other countries will become to attack us. As they are becoming more developed, they might take advantage of their new technologies and use them against America. So although the U.S. has a large amount of power, they should make smart desicions on how they use it, and consider the potential threats of other countries.
ReplyDeleteWell sure USA is the most powerful country but there just two much compition now. China is a major threat, they have the strongest economy, also, the USA has proven that they are defetable. You if ever seen the movie Black Hawk Down,It just like that. In the movie it seemed like we won but actualy the USA was kicked out by a 3rd World country. Think what china can do to us.
