Watching that video of Band of Brothers really had me wondering why would you ever volunteer to jump out of a plane while being shot at and having no protection what so ever while floating down. Did the paratroopers even know what they were getting into?
I agree about volunteering to jump out of a plane while be shot by the Nazis. Also how would you know if you saw people walking around at night if they were Nazis or the US.
ReplyDeleteYeah It was sooo simple to get killed being a parachuter. They didnt have protection, and it took them awhile to get down, so that gave germans plenty of time to shoot them down. Bieng a parachuter is similar to bieng a suidical person
ReplyDeleteYeah I agree with you Ryan. It doesn't make a lot of sense that the people would be agreeing to do this. Maybe they weren't told the whole story so they did not know that they were pretty much going to die.
