Firestorm!
Who knew the biggest problem of the London bombing would be the fire. Yes the 500lb bombs dropping 4 miles out of the sky would be scary but a firestorm?! That must have been a firefighters worst nightmar. Every thing went wrong for a firefighters life that night. The wind picked up which expanded the fire and then their water supply ran out. How could they possibly have energy to move on after that. What a courages act of the firefighters on the night of the London bombing. Who knows how much worst that night could have possibly been if it weren't for them.

I agree that the life of a firefighter that night must have sucked. I cant even believe what it would feel like to be a firefighter and have to see what they did. Also not only was the fire their nightmare too, but they also had to worry about bombs being dropped on them in the process. All around having to be in the midddle of two major crisises would be someones worst nightmare.
ReplyDeleteI agree as well. You would be getting calls from thousands of people to help out but you wouldn't be able to. Also, how can you fight a fire if you have no water? Those firefighters were very brave to keep fighting.
ReplyDeleteYou have a very good point. I would have never thought it would be so scary to be a firefighter and experience a firestorm on the most horrible night for Loondon.
